Family Chiropractor
Dr. Rob Murray
Dr. Rob Murray first became interested in chiropractic when it supported his athletic performance as a teenager and later improved his immunity and seasonal allergies. After completing his Bachelor of Biological Sciences degree at the University of Guelph, Dr. Rob continued his education at Palmer College of Chiropractic, the founding school of chiropractic. Attending Palmer College gave Dr. Rob the opportunity to specialize in a wide range of chiropractic techniques. He feels this is important because each patient is unique and requires a customized healthcare plan.
Dr. Rob is a Family Chiropractor who utilizes gentle corrective chiropractic techniques to care for patients of all ages from newborns to seniors. Murray Family Chiropractic uses state-of-the-art computer technology, on-site digital x-rays and a thorough physical examination and health history to diagnose and measure patient progress. One of Dr. Rob’s proudest achievements is creating 360 Health and co-founding the Extreme Health Makeover – York Region. These seminars have educated thousands of people in our community about how to live their healthiest life.
Dr. Rob opened his doors in 2002 and is an active member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association, the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce. He strongly believes in giving back to our community, and supports a variety of local organizations including the Newmarket Food Pantry, Inn From The Cold, The Salvation Army, Rose of Sharon, The Women’s Centre of York Region and St. Vincent de Paul. He also supports foster children through Compassion Canada.
Murray Family Chiropractic is honoured to have received several awards for community service and business excellence including, the Chuck Cino Business Award, Top Choice Award Mark of Excellence, Three Best Rated for Best Chiropractor, and The Era Readers’ Choice Diamond Award for Best Chiropractor and Best Chiropractic Clinic in Newmarket.
Dr. Rob has also enjoyed teaching Neurology at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, had a regular TV segment Your Health with Dr. Rob on Rogers Daytime York Region talk show, and coaches youth basketball with the York North Basketball Association. Dr. Rob enjoys spending time with his family and being active with a variety of sports.

Melanie Hargan, RMT
Melanie has over 19 years of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist. She graduated from Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in June 1999 and has been working in the Newmarket area ever since. Melanie is committed to helping her clients achieve their health and wellness goals. She specializes in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, pre and post natal massage, and successfully completed the Medical Acupuncture course from McMaster University in 2008.

Kelsey Alderdice, RMT
Kelsey graduated from Georgian College in 2022 with honors and is eager to use her knowledge to help others reach their highest level of wellness. Kelsey has experience treating clients with a variety of conditions; including pregnancy, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and clients with complex health needs. She has also worked with athletes, post partum clients, and clients with neurological disorders. Kelsey is trained in classic Swedish massage, which includes deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy, fascial work, lymph drainage, and much more! Kelsey is so excited to meet you and help you reach your wellness goals!
